ORBI Book
Project
results are going to be published in a book with Springer,
"Ontologies-based Business Integration". In this book, we discuss
research results, develop novel methods and frameworks for ontology
management and e-business integration and apply our results to
e-business practice. Novel methods and frameworks are of specific
interest to researchers in the field of onotlogy management and
e-business integration. Development results are important for business
practice as they demonstrate how the scope of e-business integration
can be enlarged and its flexibility raised significantly compared to
the traditional methods applied today. The book combines results from
various disciplines into a new and innovative approach. Up to now,
ontology management and the semantic web have been intensively
researched on, but have rarely been applied to business practice. The
book shows what ontology management can do for process, information and
application integration under dynamic e-business conditions. Rebstock, Michael; Fengel, Janina; Paulheim, Heiko: Ontologies-Based Business Integration. 2008, XXI, 256 p., Hardcover. ISBN: 978-3-540-75229. Appears in February at Springer. Download Book Flyer |
